We will discuss "The Measure" by Nikki Erlick.

 

Rabbi Shuval-Weiner spoke about this book during her Yom Kippur sermon.

 

The Measure poses the question: How do you measure your life? By creating a world in which everyone knows how long their life will be, Erlick explores the philosophical questions raised by such knowledge, as well as the social, cultural, and political implications.

 

We will enjoy a light nosh together. Feel free to bring a favorite (dairy or plant-based) food to share. As well, donations to our little free pantry are always appreciated.
