Laura's Love Mitzvah Day

Sunday, September 8, 2024 5 Elul 5784

9:30 AM - 1:00 PM

Calling all TBTers!
Come spend a Sunday morning performing acts of Mitzvot!
Help people in our community and improve our synagogue campus during Laura's Love Mitzvah Day on Sunday, September 8, 9:30AM - 1:00PM.
Meet at TBT (during religious school hours) at 9:30AM for kick-off (breakfast beverages and treats provided by BrewAble, dedicated to the employment and enrichment of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities) then join your project groups to make a difference! You'll also have the chance to learn about local organizations that can use your help on an ongoing basis.
Sign up for your choice of project by Wed., September 4th. In addition to the projects that require sign up, we'll have several hand-on activities that you can take part in at any time throughout the day.
It’s Tikkun Olam time!
All Temple Beth Tikvah members are encouraged to take part.

There will be numerous projects to choose from.
Sign up for our space-limited projects here

In the meantime:

Laura's Love Mitzvah Day is named in memory of TBT congregant
Laura DeRiemer z"l, who always sought to help those less fortunate.
We are grateful to Dan DeRiemer for honoring the memory of his late wife
by creating the Laura DeRiemer Memorial Mitzvah Fund.
To make a donation to this fund, which will support our upcoming
mitzvah day and similar endeavors, please go here.
